Do we not know that health is wealth? All endeavours shape up in a healthy mind and are activated by a healthy body. Holistic health is the primary need for all on humanistic grounds. And in the underprivileged societies, there is a dearth of hygiene and health. In urban settings, the scenario is equally daunting. Many urban slum dwellers who have mitigated from outside are grappling with livelihood challenges. In such settings, health is often compromised. Thus in a country of millions, and with extreme poverty levels, it is indispensable to provide healthcare facilities for free. It is time to bridge the gap in the healthcare disparities of our nation. Thus, it is the call of the hour to address healthcare issues and ensure equitable access to healthcare for all, whether it is marginalised girls, needy children, or underprivileged families and societies.
BKJKS sees healthcare as one of its primary responsibilities. In tune with that, we aim to strengthen and supplement government health systems. We seek donations from kind hearts and thus ascertain the availability of crucial life-saving supplies. We promote the goal of extensive health services coverage and make health facilities available to every human despite any social and class differences. The Devrakshak team knows the ordeals the people in remote areas face. Thus we aim to reach remote areas with healthcare facilities like ambulance services and necessary supplies. Our empathetic healthcare team shares the disease burden of the community through eager diagnosis and prompt attendance to needs. We aim to include remote areas in our diagnosis and treatment ventures. Further, talking of marginalised girls and women in a country with huge gender biases, we strive to improve access to maternal and child welfare facilities. We aim to support the health of children and the youth of tomorrow.
We have reached thousands of people and provided mobile medial facilities. We undertake camps for free medical checkup including diaganostic tests and blood tests. In addition, we have a huge network of hospitals and doctors and an efficient channel of distribution for medical supplies. Last but not least, we work towards encouraging health-seeking behaviour. At Devrakshak Foundation, we understand that underprivileged communities have a lack of awareness about health concerns and measures. Furthermore, they are too demotivated to seek related help. Thus, our team aims to make sure that the people who perceive that they have health issues reach out for help. Whether through words of kindness or educating them, we bring them out here.
